Well the New Zealand winter has given us more than a few wet days so we’ve been chipping away at the hearse, and she's been putting up a fight. The brake lines blew and so were rebuilt, the head gasket blew which also revealed a badly corroded head, but we were lucky enough to find a replacement so got her back together...
...and took her out for a wee drive in the country:
Now, on the jewelry front...
The story of Ned Kelly is both colorful and tragic. An Australian bushranger who's legal battles are still being fought today. Ned's enduring image is his armor fashioned from plow shares and the like, and worn during his final confrontation with state authorities at Glenrowan in 1880. The Ned Kelly ring is the closet replication we can achieve to this well-known icon. Imposing, almost engaging. Rudimentary yet practical. Definitely no bling, but with a lot of personality.
